Hi all! We are celebrating Christmas this year in the relative warmth of the South. Caterpillar transferred us to Mississippi in April and we have enjoyed the change of scenery.

We are proud to introduce Ryan Daniel Russell. Ryan has been such a joy to get to know. If I had my way, we wouldn't share as much 'quality time' at 3 a.m ... but that's to be expected. He recently began smiling, reaching and giggling. Chris loves being a daddy, and I've caught him more than once sneaking into the nursery and 'accidentally' waking Ryan up to play. Ryan already has him wrapped around his finger.

It's taken me two years of piano lessons, but I finally play at the kindergartner level! (You know, 'old dogs and new tricks'). There is no time to practice now that cutie has arrived, but I'm hoping to get skilled enough to help Ryan when he takes lessons.

Chris is enjoying his new job and being part of a smaller community has been a lot of fun for us. Chris is working so many hours I don't get to see him much, but we were able to fit in a vacation to Las Vegas before Ryan was born. We hope your year was filled with joy and excitement! We certainly miss all our family and friends, and hope to see more of all of you in the New Year!
